Darwin Nunez is close to leaving Liverpool, with Napoli agreeing terms ahead of a potential summer move.
Darwin Nunez has given his availability for a contract until 2030 (€5M/year plus bonuses) to Napoli, as reported by Nico Schira.
The Italian club is now in talks with Liverpool to try and reach an agreement for the striker’s transfer.
The Uruguayan recently turned down a Saudi Arabia offer, indicating his preference to continue playing in Europe.
The move could mark the end of a mixed three-year spell at Anfield, defined by moments of promise but also ongoing inconsistency.
A day after celebrating his 26th birthday, Nunez appears open to a fresh start, with Napoli presenting a new challenge under Antonio Conte.
Napoli have also secured the signing of Kevin De Bruyne, with the Belgian reportedly agreeing to a two-year deal with an option to extend.

If Darwin Nunez completes his move to Napoli, Liverpool will need to act swiftly and make smart decisions in the market
According to Lewis Steele, Liverpool are expected to make two more signings this window, one of them being a striker.
The Reds have previously been linked with several high-profile forwards, including Alexander Isak, Victor Osimhen, and Hugo Ekitike.
Isak, currently at Newcastle, is understood to be open to a move to Liverpool, but any potential deal would depend heavily on financial feasibility.
Osimhen, ironically currently at Napoli, remains unrealistic unless involved in any potential swap deal.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool remain “seriously interested” in the Eintracht Frankfurt striker and believe they have a strong chance of landing him this summer.
With over £200 million already spent, Liverpool must manage spending carefully, and replacing Nunez could be key to shaping Slot’s attack.
